Why I became an MT

"I am a married mother of 3 beautiful children. About 2 years ago my husband and I realized that money was tighter than we preferred and I would need to get at least part time work soon. I really wanted to work from home so that I wouldn't have to pay for childcare. I searched for months but I was not qualified for any of the work at home jobs that had been advertised.

I noticed how many medical transcription positions were available, but they required experience and great training in order to get the jobs. Discouragement began to set in, but I really needed to figure something out. I decided to check out the online medical transcription program offered by Future MT. It was all inclusive in price and I already have a great study office at home. Upon enrolling and beginning the course, I felt a sense of peace because I knew our family would be fine financially and otherwise. Today I am working as an MT for the hospital, but from home, and I am loving it.

I can throw a video in for my kids, pick up extra hours when needed, and count on a decent income. Overall, this decision is the best I could have done for my family. All of our needs have been met and now I would not change anything. My training at Future MT has changed my family's lives.
